Subject: Great Night
The Wu magic still exists and this shows confirms it. They just need to play more. At least, 1 show a month and then maybe do Cabooze every Weds. again. I need more Wu in my life, thank God for archive

Subject: That's my WU!
I have been seeing and experiencing this band for over the last 9 years and have been at this show and only listening to a few snip-its this really brings me back. What a show and an example of how awesome this band is and can be. Thank You!

Subject: WU YEARS
I really miss the Big Wu. Read the article from Jambands.com and I am looking forward to see what happens with this great band. From the opening Two Person Chair to the closing of Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone you could tell that there was some magic in the night. I look forward to hopefully continuing to listen to some great music from these guys and who knows maybe they will come to Poughkeepsie NY again and play before 6 people until 2:00 in the morning and play their hearts out.

Notes

Show Notes: WYE! Absolute Gruv, Hyentyte and God Johnson opening. Holy Cow. This was the Wu's final of very few shows this year and the wait was worth it. The guys have been having fun practicing and really brough a great energy to the stage. Southern Energy with 4 GUITARS! (Dean Mcgraw and Vinnie from Hyentyte + Flad and Caz) WOW! nutz. Red Sky got weird.. think brownie jam weird only I don't think there were any brownies on stage.. hmm.. damn fine.

Only one thing bugs me with the sound. 3/4 of this 2 hour set sound fantastik. The about half an hour to the end of the show the levels and quality went out the window. I have done my best to compensate but really don't know. I think Trocs may have set a 1:30 curfew and dropped the PA harshly at that point.. only explanation I can come up with as my rig didn't change. Hmm..

Damn the man!! Happy Wu Years!!!

Enjoy!
-Nate
